Mariner Group Home
Home & Community Services with dignity, care, and a name you can trust.

A home built on trust
Mariner Group Home is a long-term residence for adults with developmental disabilities. Six individuals live here — not patients, not clients — residents, in every sense of the word.
Our support is quiet, daily, and personal. Meals, hygiene, medication — all handled with consistency and dignity. No uniforms. No rotations. Just people who care, doing their job the right way.
Families trust us because we don’t overpromise. We’re not a facility. We’re a house with a name on the mailbox and lights on in the kitchen. We’re present — day after day, moment after moment.
“What we give is time, patience, and a sense of belonging. That’s what real care looks like.”
— Evelyn Gonzalez, Founder

Our Philosophy
At Mariner Group Home, we believe every person deserves to live with dignity, regardless of their abilities. We don’t start with diagnoses, we start with stories. We don’t organize routines, we build lives. Our philosophy isn’t written in a manual — it’s a daily practice: respect, consistency, and real presence.
We don’t work “for” someone. We live with them. We listen without rush. We respond without scripts. We adapt to each resident’s pace, without imposing structures foreign to their world.
We don’t want to be the best. We want to be the right ones. The ones who show up when needed, the ones who don’t fail at the basics, the ones who understand that caring is not intervening but accompanying.
This house has no long corridors or closed doors. It has shared armchairs, simple conversations, and a calm that’s not taught, it’s cultivated. Our philosophy doesn’t aim to impress. It only aims to do what’s right, every day.

Built on Integrity
Mariner Group Home operates with full licensure from the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). Our team of caregivers and professionals is certified and trained to deliver compassionate, specialized support for adults with developmental disabilities.
We don’t just meet standards — we build a space where safety, dignity, and quality of life are foundational.
